im always drinking too much coffee and my boyfriend is sleeping next to me.
hes got his toes wrapped around mine,
and its 5 in the bloody morning.

if i dont know something is missing, is it still lost?
as of this morning i cant stop wondering if i forgot to find all the pieces.
what if part of me is still out there?
im sure it is.

im so young ive got my hair dyed black and i dont care if i smoke a cigarette.
but, only every now and again.
and while i dont know my favorite color or how to save my soul,
ill tell you something i know for certain -

i like my nail polish chipped and my buttons gold
and i swear to god ill never grow old.
